The invention relates to systems for carrying out continuous fire extinguishing of tower buildings in the conditions of a compact urban area. The inventive fire-extinguishing system comprises, interconnected by means of a fire-fighting hose (3), a land fire-fighting vehicle (1) which is provided with a water supply pump (10) and a fire-fighting helicopter (2) which is provided with a fire-hose lance (13). The pressure fire-fighting hose (3) is wound on the drum of the fire-fighting vehicle (1). The fire-fighting helicopter (2) is provided with a device (17) for lifting and lowering a cable (18) which is used for lifting the fire-fighting hose (3) on the helicopter (2) board in such a way that it is connectable to the fire-hose lance (13). In order to reduce the probability of the break of the pressure fire-fighting hose (3), the helicopter is provided with an ejector pump (14), on the axis of which the fire-hose lance (13) is mounted. The fire-fighting vehicle (1) is provided with a storage tank (8) which is connectable, via the water supply pump (10), to a water-supply system and/or to a natural water source.
