<p>A functionalized cis-1,4-polydiene, a method for preparing a reactive cis-1,4-polydiene, and a tire part prepared by using the cis-1,4-polydiene are provided to increase the content of cis-1,4-bond and functionality. A functionalized cis-1,4-polydiene comprises about 95% or more of cis-1,4-bond content and about 75% or more of functionality when the functionality is defined by the percentage of a polymer chain containing at least one functional group to the total polymer chain in the polymer product. Preferably the functionalized cis-1,4-polydiene is prepared by polymerizing a conjugated diene monomer with a mixture of a lanthanide compound, an aluminoxane, an organic aluminum compound except the aluminoxane and a halogen-containing compound or its reaction product as a catalyst in the presence of a monomer, an organic solvent and an organic solvent; and contacting the obtained reactive polymer with a functionalizing agent.</p> |
