The invention concerns a technique for transmitting a roof structure for constructing a three-dimensional representation of a building, via a communication network. The invention is characterized in that said technique is based on the transmission of an ordered list of at least two roof models (M1, M2, MN) comprising each at least: one type of roof (T); one maximum height parameter (H) of said roof. During the construction of the three-dimensional representation of a building, said maximum height parameter (H) of a roof of said list determines a base of said roof in accordance with said list, so that said roof structure corresponds to the ordered superimposition of said roofs of said list. |
