A terrestrial magnetism rotation sensor is provided to minimize measurement errors in rotation number by preventing the reduction of change in induction current due to a traveling direction of the terrestrial magnetic field. A terrestrial magnetism rotation sensor includes a core, a bottom coil(110), a top coil(120), and a calculation unit(130). The core is provided on a rotating body and rotates together with the rotating body. The bottom coil is wound on the core by being tilted in a first direction with respect to the axial direction of the core. The top coil is wound by being tilted in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction at the core. The calculating unit determines movement characteristics of the rotating body by detecting changes in the intensity and frequency of the induction current generated at the first coil and the second coil by the core.
