<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a desiccant air conditioner providing recognition to a user of merits of carrying out humidity control operation. <P>SOLUTION: In the desiccant air conditioner, a downstream side absolute humidity detecting means M1 for detecting the absolute humidity of passing air is provided in an air flow direction downstream portion of a humidity control body 10 in an air supply duct Vs. An operation control means 13 is composed such that when it is measuring timing during execution of humidity control operation, a change-over is carried out to ventilation operation of stopping a driving means 11 or stopping heating action of a heating means 12.
