PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire for a motorcycle with further improved performance in steering stability especially during turning. SOLUTION: The pneumatic tire 10 for a motorcycle is successively equipped with a belt layer 16 and a tread part 18 on the outer side in the tire radial direction of a crown part 14 of a carcass 14. A spiral belt layer 20 wound in a spiral to form a cord angle within a range of 0-5 degrees with respect to the tire circumferential direction of a band-like rubber coated cord layer is disposed on the belt layer 16. When a tread surface distance from a tire center CL to a tread end T is L, the spiral belt layer 20 exists only within the range of 0.65-0.85L from the tire center CL, and crossing belt layers 22A-22D are disposed within the range from the end in the width direction to the tread end T of the spiral belt layer 20. The crossing belt layers 22A-22D contain organic fiber cords that cross each other, having a cord angle of 30 degrees or more and less than 75 degrees with respect to the tire circumferential direction.
