PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the allocation of blade PCs and virtual PC servers, which are intermingled, to terminals in a thin client type information processing system. SOLUTION: A management server comprises: a first storage part for storing the allocation state information of each of a plurality of information processing apparatuses to each of terminals; a second storage part for storing the allocation condition information of the information processing apparatus to the terminal; and an information processing part, when receiving an information processing apparatus allocation request from any one of terminals, determining an information processing apparatus to be allocated to the allocation requesting terminal on the basis of the allocation state information of respective information processing apparatuses to respective terminals which is stored in the first storage part and the allocation condition information of the information processing apparatuses to the terminals which is stored in the second storage part according to the received allocation request, transmitting the destination information of the determined information processing apparatus to the request terminal, and updating the allocation state of the information processing apparatus to the terminal from an unallocated state to an allocated state.
