PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device capable of inexpensively taking countermeasure of a short-circuit defect. SOLUTION: The display device includes a display panel to which a flexible printed board 14 is connected, wherein the flexible printed board 14 includes a first connecting section (A) to be connected to the display panel and a second connecting section (B) at the other end to be connected to an external connector. In the second connecting section (B) of the flexible printed board 14, at least two terminals (K) in a plurality of terminals composing the second connecting section (B) are connected to each other.
