PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for training the danger predictive ability of a vehicle driver. SOLUTION: In the driving training apparatus for training the danger predictive ability when a trainee drives a vehicle, the situation around the vehicle seen from the viewpoint of the driver of the vehicle while the vehicle is traveling along a designated route is displayed as a moving image. In response to the operation of a dangerous scene prediction switch while the moving image is being displayed, the traveling position corresponding to the timing of the operation of the switch is recorded. The surrounding situation of the vehicle at the recorded traveling position is displayed as a still image on a screen by automatically stopping the moving image at the recorded traveling position when the moving image is displayed in a state where the traveling position is recorded.
