PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a timepiece having both a strike mechanism having movable parts and a time setting mechanism. SOLUTION: The time setting mechanism (16) operates with a movable part (60) of the strike mechanism (20) via a first arm (72) and operates with an element (30) of the time setting mechanism (16) via a second arm (78). The time setting mechanism has a control member (88), and its rotation is controlled by a time setting lever. A drawing member (50) for rotating a locking lever (24) in the direction of a locked strike action position has a locking means (74) which operates with the strike mechanism (60) when the time setting lever (30) is rotated in the directions of a time setting angular position and the locking lever (24).
