PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid composition for the oral cavity exhibiting excellent bactericidal power for floating bacteria present in the oral cavity and high permeating bactericidal power for a bio-film and having good appearance stability even by high-temperature preservation. SOLUTION: The liquid composition for the oral cavity is characterized by comprising (A) isopropylmethylphenol, (B) phenoxyethanol, (C) a polyoxyethylene hardened castor oil and/or a polyoxyethylene alkyl ether, (D) sodium lauryl sulfate and/or lauroylsarcosine sodium and (E) ethanol. (C) The polyoxyethylene hardened castor oil has 40-100 mol average molar addition number of ethylene oxides and/or the polyoxyethylene alkyl ether has a 16-18C alkyl chain length and 10-40 mol average molar addition number of the ethylene oxides.
