PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feeding device of simple structure capable of feeding multiple stacked sheets, maintaining the top surface of the stacked sheets, or capable of feeding the multiple stacked sheets upside down. SOLUTION: This paper feeding device comprises a separator device 30 for separating the stacked sheets S into blocks by raising several number of sheets s from a head upward, a sheet block turning device 40 for pushing an upper part of the back surface of the divided sheet block B downstream to fall them, and a sheet block feeding device 60 for picking up the divided sheet block B when oscillating upward and conveying them downstream. The divided sheet block B is fed while turning the top surface of the stacked sheets downward by the operation of the sheet block turning device 40 and the sheet block feeding device 60, and the sheet block B is fed while maintaining the top surface thereof by the operation of the only sheet block feeding device 60.
