PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly and efficiently perform molding by limitatively hardening a necessary place using an aluminum mold excellent in processability. SOLUTION: In the mold 1, a fixed mold member 2 and a movable mold member 3, respectively composed of templates 2a and 3a, cores 2b and 3b and flow channel constitution parts 2c and 3c, are made an aluminum alloy and ferrous plating is applied to the regions, where a cavity 4 is formed, of the cores 2b and 3b and the flow channel parts, which constitute the runner 12 and gate 13 of the flow channel constitution parts 2c and 3c, in order to harden them while the whole surfaces of the region other than the cavity forming region and the templates 2a and 3a are set to non-plating surfaces. Further, a receiving plate 6 and a spacer block 7 are also constituted of the aluminum alloy from a viewpoint of weight reduction. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
