PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording head which can prevent a test terminal on a substrate covered with a nozzle forming member from being exposed. SOLUTION: The inkjet recording head includes the substrate 1 which mounts an energy generating element (not illustrated) and a driving element (not illustrated) that drives the energy generating element. The nozzle forming member 6 which forms an ink ejection opening (not illustrated) and an ink channel (not illustrated) on the substrate 1 is set on the substrate 1. The test terminal 5 for inspecting the driving element is prepared in a peripheral region of the substrate 1. The nozzle forming member 6 has a recess 6b formed at a part opposed to the region of the substrate 1 where the test terminal 5 is formed. The recess 6b constitutes a void between the substrate 1 and the nozzle forming member 6. The interior of the recess 6b is sealed by a sealing material 20. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
