PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary device for spot welding, which auxiliary device can cope with a variety of workpieces having various sizes and structures, and a variety of welding posture by receiving electric power from the spot welding tip of one spot welding machine used as a so-called master machine by being brought into contact with the spot welding tip. SOLUTION: The auxiliary device for spot welding comprises right and left upper electrode arms 13X, 13Y, one lower electrode bed 3, and a supporting rod 4d for connecting the upper electrode arms so as to open and close. The upper electrode arms comprises right and left upper electrode power receiving terminal 13a, 13b for receiving electric power by being connected to an external welding power source, and also comprises right and left spot welding portions 12a, 12b which are provided at the tip end portions of the upper electrode arms and are in a continuity state with one of the right and left upper electrode power receiving terminals. The lower electrode bed comprises right and left lower electrode power receiving terminals 4a, 4b for receiving electric power by being connected to the external welding power source, and also comprises right and left welding tips 2a, 2b which are provided at the tip end portion of the lower electrode bed and are in a continuity state with the right and left lower electrode power receiving terminals respectively.
