A mobile device is provided which comprises a power supply (PS), an input/output interface (I/O) and a control unit (CU). The power supply (PS) is used to supply electrical power to the mobile device. The input/output interface (I/O) is used to enable an access to the mobile device (MD). The control unit (CU) controls an access to the mobile device via the input/output interface (I/O) according to the available power level (A) in the power supply (PS). The control unit (CU) denies an access to the mobile device if the available power level (A) in the power supply (PS) falls below a threshold power level (T).
