[Class 36] Conduits comprising a base portion 1 of channel section which can be fixed to the surface of a wall or built into a wall and a cover 3 which can be fixed to and removed from the base portion, are provided with elastic means bearing against the base portion and against the conductors 2 to press the latter against the base. The elastic means are in the form of spring steel strip members 5, one end of each of which engages in the turned over rim 4 of the base portion 1, Fig. 2, or of members 5, Fig. 3, having a portion bearing against both edges 4 of the portion 1, which edges are bent in at right angles. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 comprises also a modification of the form shown in Fig. 3, in which the members 5 are secured to a stop member engaging the turned over rims of the base portion and a further modification, Fig. 3 (Cancelled), in which the wires are maintained in position by means of a U-shaped strip 7 provided with screws 8 and bearing plates 9. This subjectmatter does not appear in the Specification as accepted. |
