The rack system (1) has a container bridge (50), which serves for a temporal connection of pallet channels in a row or a plane over a work passage (14). The container bridge connects girder rails of the pallet channels and/or guidance rails, which are additionally arranged below the girder rails, such that a continuous rail road is formed between rack blocks (10a, 10b). A receiver and a counter surface are designed for temporal connection of the container bridge and the rack blocks to one another.
