An LCD panel and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to repair a bright point defect easily by forming a repair filter for blocking one of RGB light in a pixel having the bright point defect. An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) panel comprises a lower substrate(10), an upper substrate(50), LC material(20) and plural pixels. The LCD panel includes a repair filter(60) for blocking one of RGB(Red, Green and Blue) light in each of pixels having a bright point defect among plural pixels. The repair filter is formed in one of a lower part of the lower substrate, an upper part of the upper substrate and both of the two substrates. Plural TFTs(Thin Film Transistor)(11,12,13) are arranged on the lower substrate. A black matrix pattern(30) is formed among first to third color filters(31,32,33). |
