Provided is a telephone relay device, which can acquire such information even in a telephone terminal incapable of recognizing a sub-address as judges whether or not to answer on the telephone. The telephone relay device (100) holds a plurality of calling telephone numbers (or proxy telephone numbers), and uses separately the telephone number (or the user telephone number) at the time of calling a telephone terminal (210) on the terminal side in accordance with a predetermined rule, so that the telephone terminal (210) on the terminal side discriminates the kind of the communication via that telephone relay device (100), in terms of the caller telephone number (or the post telephone number).
