An apparatus and a method for controlling warping of rolling materials are provided to prevent rolling materials from being bent by adjusting a friction coefficient between a rolling roll and the rolling material. A warping control system for a rolling material(200) is installed in a rolling mill. The warping control system comprises a main controller(310), an oil controller(320), upper and lower oil injection nozzles(331,332), a warp detection sensor(340), and sensors(350,355,361,362). The main controller receives signals from the sensors to control an oil injection time and the injection nozzles. An RPM of a table roller and a position of the rolling material are used to determine the injection time of the injection nozzles. The oil controller controls the upper and lower oil injection nozzles.
