<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To unify the generation condition of ALM to an input level in signal level judgement and to surely and accurately judge a signal level regardless of the input level. <P>SOLUTION: In the optical transmission system provided with an amplifier 27 for inputting an input signal and a threshold 28 and outputting High signals and Low signals depending on the size of the input signals to the threshold, a threshold setting part 33 for setting the threshold is provided, and the threshold setting part inputs a value computed on the basis of the input signal to the amplification part as the threshold. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
