<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective mechanism of a cable, capable of protecting a cable by controlling the temperature of the cable. <P>SOLUTION: The protective mechanism of a cable includes a cable 30A1 coated for insulation and to be connected to a driving device of a hybrid car, a leakage current detecting unit 51 for detecting a leakage current from the cable 30A1, a temperature estimating unit 52 for estimating the temperature of the cable 30A1 on the basis of a result of detection of the leakage current detecting unit 51, and ECU 50 and a PCU 30 for controlling to suppress the temperature rise of the cable 30A1 on the basis of a result of detection of the temperature estimating unit 52. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
