<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate finding of print setting conflicts and causes, and facilitate settling of the conflicts. <P>SOLUTION: An operation screen displayed includes a first display area having a plurality of types of print setting items and a second display area displaying history data representing a history of setting operations of the print setting items in the first screen. In response to an operation of a first one of the plurality of types of print setting items, a second print setting item that conflicts with the first print setting item is disabled. Information including the print setting values of the first print setting item before and after the change and the second print setting item disabled with the change is stored as history data in a storage medium. When pointing with a pointing means to the second print setting item is detected in the display area, the history data on the setting operation having disabled the second print setting item out of the history data stored in the storage medium, which is displayed in the second screen, is highlighted differently from the other history data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
