PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire the latest information on various services on a network all the time. SOLUTION: Services from a plurality of service providing devices 101, 102 and 103 on a network are provided to a service use device 100. Synchronous data that describes the functions of the plurality of service providing devices 101, 102 and 103 using markup language are generated and registered. The registered synchronous data are updated when there is a change in the functions of any of the service providing devices.
