PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid entraining on a position of a vehicle stopping on a position near a smoking place, or to enable entraining on the vehicle position. SOLUTION: This navigation system 10 is equipped with a station structure database 36 storing a station structure including a position of a smoking place, a vehicle formation database 37 accumulating information of vehicle formation, a guide vehicle extraction means 33, a guide route data edition means 32, and a network database 35 for route search, and searches for a plurality of candidate routes including a route utilizing means of transportation. When an antismoking mode or a smoking-loving mode is set in a route search request, the guide vehicle extraction means 33 refers to the vehicle formation database 37 and the station structure database 36, and extracts a vehicle stopping on a smoking place position at least in a transfer station or a detraining station of a train to be entrained on a candidate route relative to each candidate route, and the guide route data edition means 32 adds the vehicle position to the guide route data, and displays the vehicle position on a display means 26.
