PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent areas from being not inspected at joints when images of a film running on a conveyor are divided for each inspection. SOLUTION: A method for inspecting a film running on a conveyor includes a process of imaging the film; a process for digitizing the picked up images to obtain image data; a means for writing the image data in a temporary storage means by means of first system clocks; and a process for reading the image data (N) for each inspection from the temporary storage means by means of second system clocks in such a way that adjacent inspection units (N-1, N) overlap for a certain period (50) during which the data are invalidated by an inspection process.
