PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner suppressing the occurrence of ghost even in a high-capacity, high-speed development process, causing no rising/trailing phenomenon in an image density, capable of effectively suppressing the occurrence of the problem of paper stain caused by toner scattering, and further, capable of obtaining a stable image of high quality over a long period of time. SOLUTION: The toner used for an image forming method includes a circulation step where the toner is circulated by a toner circulation guide member. The toner comprises: toner particles at least including a binding resin and a coloring agent; and inorganic particles, and also satisfies relational expression (1): 600 (mJ)≤E≤1,500 (mJ) and relational expression (2): 500 (mJ)≤(E-Ea).
