摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation sensor accurately measuring a rotation angle of a measured rotating body even if shaft play, etc. is developed in a rotary shaft of the rotating body. SOLUTION: This rotation sensor detecting a rotation angle of the measured rotating body is equipped with a magnetic detection element 40 mounted around the rotating body to detect magnetic flux density of a magnet 10 rotating in one body with the rotating body, and an arithmetic processing means calculating the rotation angle of the rotating body from an output from the detection element. This rotation sensor is equipped with magnetic bodies 30 each having both end parts thereof at positions with the magnet interposed therebetween and disposed along a domain where magnetic force lines of the magnet are formed. One end part of each magnetic body is apart from one side of the magnet in a rotation center axis direction while the other end part of each magnetic body is apart from the other side of the magnet in the rotation center axis direction by prescribed intervals respectively, and the detection element is positioned on the force lines passing through the magnetic body.
