PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing fine colloidal particles by which the objective fine particles can be recovered in a desired form and size and also to provide equipment for executing it. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing fine colloidal particles is characterized in that, in a step where an inorganic material is evaporated in a reduced-pressure atmosphere or in vacuum and the resultant vapor is allowed to adhere to a moving film-like liquid medium and formed into colloidal state, a moving speed of the film-like liquid medium is regulated. The manufacturing equipment used for the above method, which has a variable rotation mechanism for rotating a vacuum chamber 2 around a central shaft 19 or around a center line parallel to it, is also provided.
