PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink-jet recording head that instantaneously detects intrusion of ink into an electrical joint part in order to improve safety of the ink-jet recording head while preventing malfunction, fuming, and firing of the ink-jet recording head. SOLUTION: The ink-jet recording head is provided with a recording-element substrate, a flexible film wiring substrate, an electrode A, an electrode B, and a sealant that is provided so as to seal a part where the electrodes A, B are electrically connected with each other.
