PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tea beverage additive imparting refreshing feeling, so-called smoothness to the throat, remaining during drinking or after drinking to the tea beverage, having satisfactory feeling, so-called robust drinking feel, and full of palatability. SOLUTION: The tea beverage additive comprises 2,3-diethyl-5-methyl pyrazine, 2-methyl pyrazine or 3-ethyl-2,5-dimethyl pyrazine. A tea beverage flavor composition is obtained by adding the tea beverage additive at concentration of 1-10,000 ppm. A method for enhancing the robust drinking feel of the tea beverage comprises addition of the tea beverage additive at a concentration of 0.5-10,000 ppb. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
