The covering has different operating and/or fitting elements e.g. arm rests, cup holder and oddments tray or box, and a carrier module (1) fitted to a vehicle. A function module utilized or provided for different vehicles forms a functional side. The carrier module has air ducts (3) which communicate with air connections of an air conditioning and/or ventilating system of the vehicle at an installation position of the carrier module. A blower (2) communicating with the air ducts is arranged in the carrier module.
