An analog clock display method of a mobile communication terminal is provided to display an analog clock area on an idle screen within a certain angular range based on a minute hand and an hour hand, thereby changing a position and design of an analog clock according to time changes. An analog clock menu is set on an idle screen setup menu. A portion of an analog clock(210) is displayed on an idle screen within a predetermined angular range based on a minute hand(216) or an hour hand(218) of the analog clock. The portion of the analog clock includes a fan-shaped area(212) within certain right/left angular ranges based on the minute hand or the hour hand of the analog clock, and a supplementary area(214) connected to the fan-shaped area.
