An LCD device and an overdriving method thereof are provided to prevent a color variation by increasing a response speed of an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) panel corresponding to an intermediate grayscale. An LCD device includes a timing controller and a data driving circuit. The data driving circuit includes a latch portion(233), a data output period adjuster(234), a data output controller(235), and a modulator(236). The latch portion latches input data. The data output period adjuster generates a data output period signal controlling an output period of the modulation data and the latched data in proportion to a grayscale level of the input data. The data output controller controls a sequential output of the modulation and latch data corresponding to the data output period signal and a source output enable signal, respectively, and generates first and second data output signals. The modulator modulates the latched data to generate the modulation data, sequentially outputs the modulation and latched data according to the first and second data output signals, and changes output periods of the modulation and latched data.
