PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base isolation structure of a building capable of suppressing an amount of slide and travel of a foundation main body relative to the ground within a limited length to prevent destruction and breakage of a building main body. SOLUTION: This base isolation structure of the building provided with the foundation body constructed on the ground to support the building body and a slide means provided between the foundation body and the ground to cause the foundation body to slide relative to the ground when receiving seismic force exceeding a predetermined magnitude is provided with a travel limiting means 28 for preventing the amount of slide and travel of the foundation body relative to the ground from exceeding a limited length when earthquake occurs.
