PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display driver, a bridge circuit, an electro-optical device and an electronic equipment capable of suppressing degradation in image quality to the minimum even when abnormality occurs in the display data itself. SOLUTION: The display driver to drive an active matrix type electro-optical device includes an interface circuit to receive transmission data, an error detection circuit to perform an error detection process on the data received by the interface circuit, and a gate line driving circuit to select a plurality of gate lines of the electro-optical device. The gate line driving circuit scans a plurality of gate lines so as not to select the scan line that displays the image data in which an error is detected by the error detection circuit.
