PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phase sensor for a motor capable of determining an electric phase of the motor by an electric phase of a resolver. SOLUTION: In this phase sensor for the motor which is the resolver, rotating synchronously with the motor, the electric phase of the motor can be determined from the electric phase of the resolver, in the case where the number of poles of the motor is X, the number of poles of the resolver is Y, and X/Y=N wherein N is a natural number.
