PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for obtaining position information of a probe on a microarray. SOLUTION: The methods includes a hybridization reaction process with a probe on the microarray and a target nucleic acid labeled; a process for checking a probe's location from a signal from the label of the target nucleic acid that is detected by observing a surface with a probe fixing region with a cofocal microscope; and a process for eliminating the target nucleic acid by cleaning buffer, wherein theses processes are repeated to a same microarray.
