The device (1) has a heat sink (5) arranged in a housing (3), and a supply device (2) mounted on the sink, where the supply device has terminals. A printed circuit board (4) is arranged opposite to the sink and has an electronic circuit with a control circuit for controlling the device. A set of conductive plates e.g. conductive current plate (6a), electrically connects the board and the supply device, where the plates are arranged in a diverting direction.
