A crystal oscillator (200) is mounted in a flexible harness (100) rather than at discrete points. The crystal oscillator (200) and associated control circuitry (405) may be formed on a common substrate (410), decreasing component size and minimizing temperature fluctuations by shortening the thermal path between the crystal (200) and the control circuitry (405).
