An apparatus and a method for removing foreign materials of recycled aggregates are provided to eliminate foreign materials exactly by floating wood and papers of low specific gravity below 5mm on the water by centrifugal force or sticking fine bubbles to the wood and paper by injecting the air. In an apparatus for removing foreign materials of recycled aggregates by using centrifugal force and floatation, fine aggregates sorted by crushing the aggregates through two steps are poured into a first rotary cylindrical separator(2) together with the air and the water. Foreign materials separated in the first rotary cylindrical separator are transferred to a foreign material separating water tank(5). Fine aggregates are transferred to a dewatering screen(4). Foreign materials separated in the foreign material separating water tank and the dewatering screen are delivered to a second rotary cylindrical separator(7) by a transfer pump(6). Foreign materials separated in the second rotary cylindrical separator are delivered to a waste water disposal plant through a water collecting tank(8).
