A display panel and a method of manufacturing an array substrate are provided to form an organic layer and a color filter on the array substrate to enhance transmissivity of the display panel including a reflecting area and a transmitting area, improve crosstalk and optimize color reproducibility. A display panel(500) includes an array substrate(100) and a counter substrate(200). The array substrate includes a color filter(160) formed on an array layer which defines a pixel region including a reflecting area(RFA) and a transmitting area(TA), an organic layer(152) and a reflecting electrode(RFE) sequentially formed between the array layer of the reflecting part and the color filter. The counter substrate is combined with the array substrate, having a liquid crystal layer(300) interposed between the two substrates. A first cell gap of the liquid crystal layer of the reflecting part is smaller than a second cell gap of the liquid crystal layer of the transmitting part. |
