An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) panel having a viewing angle control function and an LCD using the LCD panel are provided to allow liquid crystal cells in a horizontal field and liquid crystal cells in a vertical field to respectively react to different gamma voltage sets to improve distinctness of display images and maximize viewing angle control effect. An LCD panel having a viewing angle control mode includes color subpixels(RSP11,GSP11,BSP12,RSP12,RSP1m,GSP1m,BSP1m,RSPn1,GSPn-1,BSPn-2,RSPn2,RSPnm,GSPnm,BSPnm) in a horizontal field and interference subpixels(RESP11,GESP11,BESP12,RESP12,RESP1m,GESP1m,BESP1m,RESPn1,GESPn1,BESPn2,RESPn2,RESPnm,GESPnm,BESPnm) in a vertical field. The color subpixels and the interference subpixels are respectively formed in regions defined by a plurality of gate lines(GL1,GL2,GL3,GL2n-1,GL2n) and a plurality of data lines(DL1,DL2,DL3,DL4,DL5,DL3m-1,DL3m) and alternately arranged along the data lines. The color subpixels include red, green and blue subpixels arranged in a circulating manner along the gate lines and the interference subpixels include first, second and third interference subpixels arranged in a circulating manner along the gate lines. |
