A reproducing apparatus and a timing control method are provided to reproduce image and voice data seamlessly by controlling a reproduction timing based on two clock signals although it is difficult to generate an accurate clock in supplying reproduction data. An antenna(110) receives decoded image and voice data. A tuner unit(120) selectively demodulates desired image and voice data among image and voice data received from the antenna, and generates a clock for operating a reproducing apparatus. A data storage unit(130) temporarily stores the demodulated image and voice data. A decoder(140) decodes the image and voice data acquired from the data storage unit. A synchronization controller(150) receives clock signals from the tuner unit and the decoder, and outputs the comparison result to the decoder to control the operation of the decoder.
