An apparatus for improving a horizontal line dim of a liquid crystal display device is provided to reduce a difference in output slew rates between horizontal lines of a data driver by properly controlling a power control signal. An apparatus for improving a horizontal line dim of a liquid crystal display device includes a liquid crystal panel(35), a gate driver(33), and a data driver(34). The liquid crystal panel includes liquid crystal cells, which are driven by a data signal and a gate-on signal, and displays an image. The gate driver supplies gate-on signals to respective gate lines of the liquid crystal panel. The data driver controls a bias current of a driving voltage supply transistor, such that slew rates of driving voltages for adjacent horizontal lines are equalized, when data voltages corresponding to grayscale values of the respective gate lines are supplied according to an inversion scheme through an amplifier.
