An objective lens adjusting apparatus for an optical pickup is provided to install protectors on the adjusting device in a relatively higher position than a second objective lens so as to prevent the objective lens from colliding with the recording medium. An objective lens adjusting apparatus for an optical pickup comprises a bobbin(20), first and second objective lens(24,32), and an adjusting device(28). The bobbin has a first lens mounting part(22) and an adjusting device mounting part(26). The first and second objective lenses are placed on a first lens mounting part and a second lens mounting part(30) respectively. The adjusting device is mounted on the adjusting device mounting part to adjust a relative position with respect to the bobbin, and is installed with the second lens mounting part. The adjusting device has one end which is mounted with the second lens mounting part and the other end which is formed with a rotary adjusting part. Protectors(34) are projected in a higher position than the second objective lens.
