PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber sensor for reliably fixing a fiber holder for storing and fixing the tips of an optical fiber for projecting light and an optical fiber for receiving light inside the tip of a protective tube where a detection section is formed at the tip. SOLUTION: The fiber sensor comprises: the protective tube 1 storing the optical fibers 7, 8 for projecting and receiving light made of a fluororesin member; the fiber holder 12 that has heat-resistant temperature higher than that of the protective tube, stores an end on one side of each optical fiber for fixation, and is forced into an opening end 1a on one side of the protective tube while a press-in section having an outer diameter larger than the inner diameter of the protective tube is formed at least at one portion of an outer-periphery surface; and a detection member 6 that is made of a fluororesin member, is joined to an opening end on one side of the protective tube liquid-tightly, and guides light from the optical fiber for projecting light to the optical fiber for receiving light.
