PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rhythm word grouping method and a device, capable of obtaining natural language sound by suppressing an error caused by rhythm word grouping. SOLUTION: The rhythm word grouping method includes the steps of: inputting a language text; creating an initial rhythm word string by performing word dividing and word property marking on the language text; creating a grid rhythm word string by inserting a grid for expressing a rhythm word border at all word borders in the initial rhythm word string; adding a symbol to the grid to be deleted in the grid rhythm word string; judging the grid actually to be deleted in the grid rhythm word string; and creating the rhythm word by deleting the grid to be actually deleted and by grouping words between each two grids in the remaining grids.
