PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-stage centrifugal pump which can be easily assembled, and has a long life. SOLUTION: The centrifugal pump includes a pump part 4 incorporating in series two impellers 16, 17, a pump case 5 having a liquid suction-port 2 and a liquid delivery-port 3, a motor part 6 for driving the pump part 4. In the center of either of facing impellers, there are provided a hollow delivery-side projection and a suction-side projection having each a specified inside-diameter and length, and a shaft 22 which penetrates the delivery-side projection, the suction-side projection and impellers to support the impellers rotatably. The pump includes further slide bearings 21 fixed to the impellers, a connecting pipe 20 integrally connecting the two impellers, and a reflux hole 28 made to establish communication between the inside and outside of at least one impeller.
